Its pink, The cover of the book is painted bright pink, words on the cover were scrawled in bright graffiti that Crash had taken time to decorate it with it read 'Explosives and Thoughts: The Diary of a Zonerat'. The book seems to hold together well as you look at the bent spine, it seems to be nice and thick, it'll last a while to its user. After you crack open the cover you read the words, in curly elegant writing you see the title page, The writing inside was a bright blue, standing out nicely against the yellowing pages of the old book, reading the same as the cover but under it in just as elegant writing you read the next passage:
By Crash Diamond
( My real name you can't ever know...)
10/21/1989 - God Knows but if your readings, He got me.
At the very end of the page you see this:
Please, If you have the power to keep this safe please do. If the world somehow changes again. Don't let this die like everything else, Let everyone know our real history.
Finally you turn the page, the elegant writing reads 'Spring'. It stood out so much from the other writing because it was a bright red.
One more page and you come to a page of full writing:
Took my bike out for a spin around the zones, mostly to check and see who was still alive. Seems out in zone six they're still a pretty old man, I can't believe he's still hanging on. Told me a few storys of the war, No, Not any wars your thinking about. A War long forgotten by everyone it seems. He was talking to me about the Vietnam war, All the way back in November of 1955. I'd almost forgotten it existed myself. On the ride home I had way to much time to think, I couldn't remember anything before 2009ish. So much shit happens out here on a daily basis that I don't know where I am half the time. I can't believe were still alive, I was sure that last clap with the exterminator was gonna end me. I thank god I'm still breathing, Most people don't think so but... I'm pretty sure things are going to get better. That's how it works, Things get shitty, stay shitty then slowly start getting better. I'm holding out that before I die, Maybe life will be like it was when I was 15.
My Wish for tomorrow:
I'll stay breathing
